Isha Foundation, which took to running electric crematoriums in 2010. Isha crematoriums are called 'Kayanta Sthanams' and are a tie-up with the state government. The eight Isha Foundation crematoriums in Coimbatore are at Nanjundapuram, Veerakeralam, Thudiyalur, Pothanur, Vellalore, Kramadai, Thondamuthur and Alandurai.
