Documents Required for Legal Relocation
- Original and duplicate Death Certificate
- Passport and personal documents of the deceased
- Airport travel permit from Bangladesh authority
- Embalming certificate signed by certified professionals
- Health department letter confirming non contagious state
- Sealed coffin box certificate
- Flight and air cargo tickets details
- No Objection Certificate (NOC)
- Local police permit
- Postmortem report (if death was unnatural)
- Proof of stay in Bangladesh (e.g., hotel bills, house rent)
- IDs of accompanying family members
All these documents must be available in original and copy. The Last Journey team arranges 8-10 copies of each essential document and the copies of each document are submitted to the different departments related to the Repatriation procedure.
